I have been an article contributor and a Managing Editor of our school publication and yearbook, respectively, in 1983-1984. I have been a consultant, photographer, writer, lay-out artist and graphic designer to the different souvenir programs and publications since then. Aside from my previous work, I am a professional photographer and producer (videographer/editor/writer/graphic artist) of video documentaries, event organizer and blog designer developer and maintainer. I went to the U.S. in 2017. My articles during my U.S. travel was published at Pilipinas Ngayon Na Business and lifestyle Magazine. for its December, March and Jne 2018 issue. When I came back from the U.S., I decided to be a full time freelancer photographer/producer of content materials. We organized the Pilipinas Ngayon Na Business and Lifestyle Magazine, where I am presently its Managing Editor, Photographer, Writer, Lay-Out and Graphic Artists. We design the magazine as a content based magazine using a quad media approach where I supplement it with a blog magazine linked with its TeleRadyo Program and TV exposures. I am a cyber media advocate for more than 15 years, founder of the ITSURA Group of Photographers, Hair and Make-Up Artists and Talents.
I have been a personal/official photographer and cyber publicist of Bella Dimayuga of the then Bellestar Dancers (she is now retired in the entertainment industry) and, Usec. Robert T. Rivera, former Deputy Press Secretary during the Administration of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
In my years of experience in the different mass media environment, I realized that magazine, with a good pictures, lay-out design, title and content, is still one of the best form of mass media communication. It is not a matter of the number of likes or viewers in the social media, it is the content and the level of the viewers and liker and engagement. With the proliferation and flooding of images and information, many are now getting tired and bored of the social media platform. I believe that mainstream media and events (person to person engagement) - is still the best platform of mass communication. Ultimately, behind every images and design - it is the content that can withstand the element of time directed towards the target market - that shall make a difference.
I can prepare a dummy of a magazine with lay-out design and write-up, subject to the intellectual rights of those who owned the images, except for images for public consumption subject to fair use principle.
